SPECTRUM JOINS TELECOM EXPENSE MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (TEMIA)

June 8, 2009  – The Telecom Expense Management Industry Association (TEMIA) has announced that it is now five companies stronger. The organization welcomes five new companies to its membership and expects that its recent program expansion and the reduction in membership fees will help to continue to drive additional growth.

The association brings significant value to its members, enough so that many are competitors, yet partners in this group. TEMIA is well positioned to help its members and TEM providers through the development of industry standards for electronic bonding, electronic billing and augmenting overall service quality.

TEMIA is the foremost organization leading the efforts of creating awareness for Telecom Expense Management at enterprises. It provides a platform to discuss telecom billing issues and standards. It also provides a framework for members to improve the overall TEM industry," said Pankaj Gupta (PJ) President and CEO of Amtel, in a Friday statement.

Companies today are more cost conscious than probably ever before. As a result, these enterprises are seeking help from TEM providers. According to Al Subbloie, president and CEO of Tangoe and one of the original founders of TEMIA, membership in the organization should be a strong consideration for any company evaluating TEM solutions.

Membership indicates thought leadership, an investment in the future of effective TEM solutions and a long term commitment to the TEM market. As the TEM market is growing as more organizations learn about the opportunity to improve supply chain management for telecom expenses. The association is also expanding globally as it recently added a member with France-based headquarters. Anatole joined in an effort to learn from other companies, share its practices and help to promote TEM standards in Europe, according to Shahram Sharif, Vice President of Global Strategy and Business Development.
