Former Cincinnati Bell President to Help Guide Direction of Company
CINCINNATI, Ohio, April 9, 2009 – Spectrum Inc.

appointment of John J. “Jack” Mueller to its Board of
Directors effective April 1, 2009.
“Mr. Mueller brings his extensive leadership and more
than thirty years of telecommunications industry experience to
Spectrum’s board. In his career, he has held executive
leadership positions at Cincinnati Bell (NYSE:CBB), Valor
Communications Group (NYSE:VCG), Connexion Technologies, and
Timmaron Capital Advisors. Mr. Mueller currently sits on the
Board of Directors at Centennial Communications (NASDAQ: CYCL)
and Apex CoVantage, and is a previous director of the United
States Telecom Association, Idearc Media and the Northern
Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Mueller also provides
executive coaching services to several small- to medium-sized
clients.
