Spectrum, Inc. was founded by its current CEO, Troy McCracken in 1999. Since then the company has expanded through organic growth and strategic acquisition to be the pre-eminent comprehensive telecommunications management company in the region.  Some of it offerings include RFI/RFP development and procurement, network consulting, contract negotiation, wireless device management, and its telecom expense management (TEM) software solutions.

Ove the past few years, Spectrum has received numerous award recognitions such as Torch Award finalist, and numerous industry accolades.  In 2006, Spectrum was recognized as the 5th fastest growing company in the tri-state.  Some companies who have trusted Spectrum to manage their telecommunications infrastructure are: Baker Concrete, Messer Construction, Cornerstone Brands, Bob Evans restaurants, Miller-Valentine Group, Rumpke, Lykins Oil Companies, Sheakley Companies, California Pizza Kitchen. Sallie Mae, and so on

The company is headquartered in Cincinnati, and looking to open an office in the Nashville area in 2008. Spectrum is solely owned by the dynamic brother team of Troy and Trent McCracken and employs approximately 25 talented professionals. The McCrackens, along with their leadership team are very involved in the community, serving on boards and committees, and continue to give back. This is evident by the new phone system donated to the Talbert House for their Victim Services Line. In addition, just in the past few years Spectrum has donated nearly $40,000 to local charities like Adventures for Wish Kids and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Cincinnati.
