This position will be primarily responsible for coding, testing, documenting and deploying enhancement upgrades to our existing software platform. Other responsibilities include application maintenance and custom operational reporting using SQL Reporting Services, Crystal reports, or similar.  Our software is comprised of a VBScript/MSSQL back end with a front-end wrapped in javascript and css creating clean, user-friendly, multi-browser compatible web interfaces.

The ideal candidate must possess solid online design skills with an understanding of complex sites and navigation, and be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Skills & Requirements

. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems recommended – or equivalent job experience.
. 5 or more years of experience within the following fields:
. Must demonstrate excellent written and oral skills with solid interpersonal and organizational skills.
. Must be able to work in a varied and fast paced environment, with flexibility and tolerance.
. Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn.
     -Application development in ASP with relational databases.
     -ASP.NET/VBScript - Must have fluent command of vbscript to create dynamic and re-usable coding.
     -SQL - Must design efficient SQL statements, scalable table design, views, stored procedures.
     -HTML/DHTML - Clean design skills creating functional interfaces in HTML (no WYSIWYG).
     -JavaScript.
     -Must have experience working in MS Visual Studios Enterprise.
     -Photoshop - Create user-friendly interface designs is a plus.
     -Knowledge of development lifecycle including design and testing.
     -Familiarity with Flash is also a plus.
