Sales Channel Manager- THIS POSITION

| General Description Create and execute an account business plan focused on B2B resale and managed services activity within the telecommunications industry. Develop business with Master Agencies in selling Spectrum’s TEM business offering. Propose tactics to increase sales and awareness within the channel community. Support and leverage other channel efforts, field marketing and other lead or sales generating programs. This position is responsible for the attainment associated account and/or territory channels sales quotas, vertical business development and revenue generation.
Skills & Requirements
. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent and sales experience in
a high-technology company.
. Experience with sales in a multiple distribution channel business is essential.
. Must demonstrate an ability to excel within a cross-functional team environment.
. Ability to accurately forecast channels sales activity.
. Candidate should exhibit strong strategic thinking, initiative and leadership skills.
. Strong selling skills in major accounts and/or a territory is essential.
. Must have strong relationship selling skills within the channels community
. Must be able to lead sales calls at every level of an account, executive level or otherwise.
. Must be a self-starter and strong closer with multi-tasking ability.
. Understanding of business organizations and their buying cycles is required.
. Experience selling in a high technology & networking industry & knowledge of the telecommunications industry (wireline and wireless services).
. Excellent negotiation and closing skills are a must.
. Requires practical experience using influence management to achieve goals.
. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
. Prior management experience desirable.
